Embossing and Metal Stamping Classes for 2012

Learn to emboss and stamp metal altered blanks using new techiques from an experienced jewelry artist.

Make metal jewelry to wear or give as a gift. We are adding new classes during the week and on Saturdays. Check for new dates.

Dog Tag Necklace

Dates:

Saturday April 14  2 pm to 4 pm (Wine and Art Party)

Create a dog tag necklace using the techniques of stamping and riveting.  With altered blanks made from brass and copper, we will learn to stamp into the metal, then attach pieces together by riveting. Example above.

Supplies and tools are provided, but you can buy more supplies during class.

Class fee is $60.00 per person.

Mini Journal Pendant

Dates:

Friday January 13, 2012  6:30 pm to 8:30 pm  (Wine and Art Party)

Saturday April 7  2 pm to 4 pm  (Wine and Art Party)

Create a Mini Journal Pendant using the techniques of embossing, and riveting.  Using altered brass blanks we will create a Mini Journal Pendant by designing and decorating the blanks with embossing ink, and riveting additional elements.  Each Mini Journal Pendant will consist of two altered blanks that are connected in a book fashion.  Example above.

All tools and supplies for the class will be provided.

Class fee is $60 per person.
