History of Lake Erie Artists Gallery

Lake Erie Artists Gallery is a collection of local artists from the Greater Cleveland area that gathered to offer wonderful art of all types of media to the discerning public.

We started out in 2003 as a small co-op of artists that joined together to offset the cost of the many summer art shows around the region. Then, in the late fall of 2005, we were offered a temporary home for the holidays at Tower City in Downtown Cleveland, Ohio.

On April 1, 2006, we were granted permanent space inside the old J.Crew store on the 2nd and 3rd floors of Tower City Center, and we were extremely excited. Having a storefront brought us more recognition and has been contributed to bringing people back to Tower City Center.

In March of 2007, we moved to a new space on the first floor which is much more suited to our needs.  We now have gallery space, a studio for teaching classes or tutoring, and lots of room for small items like jewelry.

We continue to grow with new and bigger events, more artists, and more varieties of media. We are proud to represent the vast creativity available in our wonderful city on the shores of Lake Erie.

We are located on the east end of Tower City near the cascading fountain. We invite you to stop by our gallery and take a look around. styles and at many price points. Our goal is to make art accessible to all. So even if you have $10 or $10,000 we guarantee you will find something to love at Lake Erie Artists.
